President Barack Obamas supposed congratulatory call to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, two days after the Likud leader triumphed in Israels elections, was actually a bitter 30-minute conversation, Israels two main TV news stations reported Friday night.
Quoting unnamed Israeli sources, they said the president made clear he didnt believe Netanyahu was genuinely supportive of a two-state solution to the Palestinian conflict, and that he indicated that the US would no longer automatically support Israel at the United Nations.
According to a Channel 10 read out on the call, indeed, Obama left Netanyahu with the impression that he intends to abandon Israel at the UN.
The United States has actually been considering a reevaluation of ties with Israel, including its automatic support for the Jewish state at the United Nations Security Council, for at least four months, the Israeli sources also told Channel 2. Although the White House claims the reassessment was prompted by Netanyahus remarks on Monday in which rejected the establishment of a Palestinian state and which he walked back Thursday that is not the case, according to the officials.
Channel 10 also said Netanyahu was adamant about keeping his ambassador to the US, Ron Dermer, in the job despite heavy American criticism.
Netanyahu backtracked on his no-to-Palestine comments earlier Thursday, saying he still supported a sustainable, peaceful two-state solution, but the White House swiftly dismissed his new, more moderate comments. Asked why the White House was not taking Netanyahu at his word, White House spokesman Josh Earnest retorted, I guess the question is: Which one? Earnest said the Obama administration did take Netanyahu at his word and understood that the prime minister does not envision a Palestinian state being established during his term in office.

Yes I honestly do feel it,
And I don’t go around thinking everyone I dislike or disagree with politically is in some way possessed, hardly,
This goes way beyond politics, to witnessing something working with a subtle and feigned smile and through a false and deceptive easygoing appearance. By peace, he will end up before its all said and done of destroying many things,
There is clearly something more empowering this person, and it is a form of evil I have never seen before,
Nothing and no one (in this country) in any position to speak out loudly to oppose him will say anything against him or stand up in any meaningful way, truly unprecedented in my experience,
We (and Israel)”battle not against flesh and blood” but by every lying wonder and deception with the media supporting it. This is what “principalities and powers” operating in high places look like in the real world.
For anyone still on the fence, its way past time to choose sides here, and I mean choose who you’re going to serve in this spiritual war heating up right in front of us all,
Needs a “like” button.
Doubts about whether UK and France will abandon Israel.
Obama may not be the anti-Christ, but he would surely be a supporter - might be the only person who Obama esteems above his own sorry sick petulant inner-self.
Obama is simply threatening Bibi to get leverage to get him to throw Ron Dermer under the bus...
I'm sure Obama already has a stooge from the Isaac Herzog Labor party lined up if Bibi capitulates to Obama...
He could be the community organizer for the Anti-Christ.
LOL!
Christians who vote dimocrat certainly don’t put Biblical principles first in their lives.
Great quote!
OBAMAS FRIENDS ARE U.S. AND ISRAEL ENEMIES
