I’ve never known anyone more adept at situational awareness than my daughter. It’s almost spooky at times. She misses nothing. Has multiple exit plans and scenarios at any given time in the city.

Reassuring to me of course. But I envy her capabilities. Don’t know how she does it.

I was raised by a prison guard/hunter.

He drilled that stuff into my head, 24/7.

I’m always amazed at the things hubby does *not* notice.

I’m not sure why I even ask “Did you just see...?, anymore, because the answer is almost always no.

Perhaps wariness is a nature, or a gift.It’s probably not taught.
