The race hustlers claim that blacks were slaves for 400 years in America but once the US was founded slavery was rapidly eliminated. The US began in 1787 (signing of the Constitution) and ended in 1865 (end of civil war), that’s only 78 years. Its already been 50 years since the civil rights movement.

Your point is well taken. However ~600,000 is the accepted total for both sides. Union losses were ~360,000; Confederate losses are estimated to have been ~260,000.
