Whatever. I permanently tuned Beck out when he allied himself with the homo-fascists on fag marriage. And I’ve all but tuned out the GOP as well, for their unwillingness to fight the same, and ditto amnesty.

Both Beck and the GOP can go to hell as far as I’m concerned.

Beck "...supported the GOP during the last election cycle..."

He just NOW left the GOPe?

He was supporting them when in MS they got the dems to help them destroy a good conservative tea party type candidate?

He is rich, he probably gave them up in the high six figures hoping they would see him as one of their buddies.

Watching this guy from 2009 when he jumped in front of the Tea Party Movement and created his own event in DC to try to draw the TP types in to his camp...showed me his $elf centered agenda.

I used to listen on Fridays during the football season, when Beck would call convenience store clerks in each of the hometowns of various competing teams in a skit he termed “moron trivia” in which he would ask fairly simple questions and based on the answers or stupid responses predict which team might win on Sunday. It was sometimes amusing, but Beck & his team would often be very annoying at times during the phone call. Other than that, his show is just a lot of noise.

has become disillusioned with the party in recent years over what he believes was its failure to stand up to the Obama administration

He's only just now noticing that?

Of course Beck is right. Many on FR have been saying this for a long time.

Republicans, unless they just so happen to also be conservative, are part of the problem.

I am registered Republican so I will have a say-so in primary elections. However, I don’t consider myself a Republican. I’m a conservative, and proud of it.

“Four years ago I was with them," Beck said. "Four years ago I said, ‘Work from the inside, let’s change it, let’s get new guys in there.’"

Told you so, Glenn.

Glenn’s still brought up talking about the Caliphate and did get that a bit to the mass market, also talked about Fabian Socialists. The latter, he could have heard from others talking but still, good to bring it out.

Taking the party back will take a few years, maybe more. It will be a fight of pain and recurring disappointment, but still a fight of our lives. Screw the so called leaders, get involved and lead silently, your work ethic will gain praise. Then you drop the hammer of conservatism. Some may leave, and you will be able to identify them!!!!!! Carry on, with a smile and we shall overcome!

Glenn Beck: 'I'm out of the Republican Party — I am not a Republican'

Yeah yeah we all know what you are.

A wild-eyed, drug addled, faggot-loving baby-killer (who wants smaller government)

Our “big time” talk radio station recently cast Herman Cain to the wolves for Glen Beck.

Since I don’t have a TV, I didn’t know much about Beck. But I’ve listened to him enough now to say, IMHO, the man is nuts.

Liked Herman much better.

When I read the headline, I didn't care, at first, because Beck has said some really strange things since leaving Fox News.

But I can't argue with his reasons: Immigration and ObamaCare.

Immigration is my number one issue.

ObamaCare is my number two - but tied with many others like spending, debt, unfunded Social Security and Medicare programs, defense of Israel, and Constitution-based law and governance.

I knew the GOP leadership and a majority of GOP Congressmen would betray us - AGAIN! - after the 2014 election, so I did not vote for the center-left GOP Congressional candidate in my District, which the Democrat incumbent won by 75%-25% anyway.

My last donation to the GOP was Mitt Romney. There is currently no 2016 GOP presidential candidate I will donate to or vote for, including Ted Cruz.

Cruz has done nothing to stop our current massive level of LEGAL immigration, and, he supports more foreign work visas.

Cruz also supports the Gang of Eight Amnesty, but with two amendments: “certified” border security and “no path to citizenship.”

Those amendments are useless, because they will never be enforced.

not one cent to the party. give only to candidates that meet your standards. No more, lessor of two evils.

Beck came out for sodomite “marriage” a few years ago, calling it a “civil right”. This conspiracy moron has never been a conservative and every time he calls himself a libertarian real libertarians laugh at him. He would make a fine democrat though.

I donate ONLY to candidates that are proven Conservatives. I toss all RNC correspondence that are phony questionnaires that nobody reads, but they want the cash.

What can a good radio host do?
A good radio host pulls in people who would not otherwise consider the political ramifications of a 2000 page bill or the like. He has to explain and re-explain many things while keeping it entertaining.
OF course once you know “the truth” what can you do about it anyhow?
A good host has to get people who would rather look at videos of cute kitty cats and get them to consider that big government is not good, much less sustainable, government.
Following government makes one want to puke. Our “leaders” continually do the opposite of what seems like common sense? There is a gut feeling that most politicians would sell their grandmothers if it meant wealth and power for themselves.
Look at recent years. It looked like Obama Care was dead and in no time it is a done deal? I still don’t understand how the government can make us buy something? Oh well, the rules only apply to the little people (anyone not on the government teet)?
Rush, Levin, Beck, Eric and Gary, and more tried to warn folks.
What i am saying is that even the smart people who no better are seemingly powerless to stop the crazy train? So, what do you expect a bunch of dumdums to do about it?
Try and explain even the basics to most? people and its a never ending battle. Besides, even when you know better lots of luck because you are so outnumbered by dumdums?

Yep, venting again.

I dropped out of the NRA a long time ago when they basically started threatening me and terrorizing me. Now I’m a member of the NAHC. Much better articles and without the political BS.

That said, he's right about this issue.
