The California Department of Motor Vehicles Wednesday released the preliminary statistics for Assembly Bill 60 (AB 60) ten weeks after implementation.
Under the new law, any eligible California resident is able to apply for a driver's license, regardless of immigration status.
The total issued since January 2, 2015 is 166,000.
The DMV reports that the approximate number of exams both written and behind-the-wheel administered since Jan. is close to 875,000.

That is an abysmal failure rate.
The illegals coming in from Mexico tend to be sub literates. Maybe they have about four years of education in Mexico at the most. Most have never driven a car before arriving here. I am surprised the passing rate is above 5%.
Even if they don’t pass the DMV test, the purple shirt SEIU union thugs working at the DMV office will make sure the illegals are registered to vote before the illegals leave the building.

Well, why should failing a driving test keep you from driving, anymore than immigration laws keep you from working illegally.

They know how to drive. What they don’t know how to do is follow laws and customs. They just don’t give a crap how much they destroy.

A number of times I’ve read of the CHP pulling over vehicles with many people inside, only to have them completely abandon the vehicle and scatter.
They pull people over with no I.D.
