NEW YORK Kraft Foods is recalling about 6.5 million boxes cases of original flavor Kraft Macaroni & Cheese because some of the boxes contain small pieces of metal.
The boxes have "best when used by" dates ranging from Sept. 18, 2015 through Oct. 11, 2015 and are marked with the code "C2." They were sold throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and in some countries in the Caribbean and South America.

Im going to try a batch with regular cheddar with a little Blue cheese added to the mix. Sounds good. Might make the mac and cheese a little salty. It always seems blue cheese is a bit salty. Not that that is a bad thing!

My gramma used to boil macaroni, drain it and toss chunks of cheddar cheese in and stir.
Looked awful, tasted like heaven.

I now have the fixin’s for homemade, but last week I made a box of Aldi’s Cheese Club M&C [39¢] but with butter and heavy cream. Mixed in some crumbled ground round and was surprised at how tasty it turned out. Big freakin’ Lots wants a buck for one box of Kraft! NWIH, not at that price...

With a use by date of September, 2015...why, that could be any Mac n Cheese dating back to the Reagan administration.

Im sure this is causing wide panic in Canada, what are they to do without their Kroff Dinner?Actually, we call it "Kraft Dinner". Don't know where the "Kroff" comes from? But, so far it doesn't look like the recall applies to Canada. Good thing because my Grandkids love it !!

Michelle Obama, is that you?
Because we don't have time to make mac n' cheese from whole milk, real Italian grain macaroni, and 100% real cheese over a stove.
When the crap hits the fan you'll wish you had a box or two.
