The shootout with police in Watertown, Massachusetts, ended with Tamerlan Tsarnaev's death and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's brief escape into a boat stored in someone's backyard.
"For eight minutes," Watertown Police Officer Joseph Reynolds testified, "it felt like there were hundreds of rounds" being fired at him by Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Reynolds said he heard an engine revving, so he screamed, “Get off! Get off! He’s coming back toward us,” as the SUV the brothers had carjacked sped up.
An officer reportedly tried to pull Tamerlan Tsarnaev out of the way, but couldn’t. “Tamerlan was run over by the Mercedes,” Reynolds said.

Something is way wrong with the "system"
The guy would have probably been caught sooner if the government didn’t impose a curfew....and if the government didn’t conduct their illegal searches during the curfew.
Actually if the boat owner didn’t go outside for a smoke. Flash bang would have bled out in the boat. Saving us the trial.
Between the two of them, there was one pistol. The hundreds of round must have been fired in an echo chamber, as each set of police shooter responded to the bullets of another set. Not the best day for law enforcement, IMO.
Years and Years, millions and millions, in the interest of what?
They brought John Brown to trial in three weeks for the raid on Harpers ferry and hung him four weeks after the trial. That was probably an unfair prosecution since his lawyer thought he was guilty and he had to be dragged in on a cot with all his wounds, but now we are stretching things out way to far the other way.
