I remember an older guy a couple of years ago on the radio who decided to start dating again.
He said he is confused as the first date he held the door open for his first date and she told him she can open the door herself.
The next date with another woman he did not open the door for her and got told he was not a gentleman.
He went on to state that back in his dating was so much easier

He should have let the first date open the door and call herself a cab home. And then opened the door the second time.
