A petition posted to the White House’s ‘We the People’ do it yourself petition site on Monday calls for prosecution under the Logan Act of the forty-seven U.S. senators who signed a letter initiated by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) to the Iranian government about the negotiations for a nuclear deal between the Islamist state sponsor of terrorism and President Barack Obama.
The petition accuses the senators of having committed a “treasonous offense” and violating the Logan Act which prohibits U.S. citizens from conducting unauthorized negotiations with foreign powers.
Signers of the petition rocketed it past the 100,000 minimum signers set by the Obama administration to receive a response from the White House in just one day. The petition was created by “C.H.” of Bogata, New Jersey on Monday the same day the letter was released and by late Tuesday evening it had well over 118,000 signatures. In a one-hour period Tuesday night over seven thousand signatures were added to the petition.
The text of the petition reads:

In 2008, the office of the president elect was co-equal with the President of the United States. Obama said so.

It was appropriate for Congress to warn Iran’s leaders that they would be making a treaty with him alone.

The most incredible thing recently was Obie saying that there were a lot of things he would like to do but we’re not a monarchy (ha ha) so he couldn’t.
Well, Parliament had no comment so he just started doing them ... and Parliament still didn’t seem to have a problem with it.

They might want to check to see if the petitions were automatically filled by bots or if they came from foreign / overseas sources.

These are actually dangerous and mostly very anti-American in any meaning of that term. It’s still hard for some “liberals” or long- term D party voters to come to grips with the fact that the D party apparatus has been taken over by an extremist Commie-IslamoNazi alliance, so to speak, with ideologies most Americans still find repugnant. There are many D party members who would refuse to support or vote for these new types - if someone would just point it out clearly. But the R party and it’s candidates won’t breath a word about it.
