What will amuse me is this: if they paid for an offsite backup service and either forgot or cannot erase the backups (because they are stored by someone else).

Based on the Clintons past actions I'm sure we, the taxpayers, are footing the bill for the operation and maintenance of the server. Heck, we have probably been paying rent on the space it occupies within their mansion as well as the electric bill for it and its physical security in addition to the Secret Service/State Department detail to protect the former FLOTUS/Secretary of State.
