The Associated Students of University of California, Irvine (ASUCI) voted Tuesday to remove all flags, including American flags, from an inclusive space on campus because of their offensive nature.
The bill, R50-70, was authored by Social Ecology Representative Matthew Guevara, and accuses all flags, especially, the American flag, of being “symbols of patriotism or weapons for nationalism.”

I Googled that term and all I get back is something about chimpanzees.
I often wondered why demonstrators on the Left never displayed American flags. It is now that I understand. These Lefties hate the American flag and everything it stands for. Their minds of mush have been indoctrinated by a anti-America scholastic system that would be satisfied if America became a third-world communist nation.
In addition, there are some weasel words at the end that allow for reconsideration. Somehow, I'm pretty sure display of the flags of Hamas and Hezbollah would not be problematic to these “leaders.”

Correcting my previous post. The resoultion DOES, in fact, ban the flag of any nation from being displayed in the second to last paragraph. The last paragraph is the weasel words.
Agreed although I would venture to say the lefties may hate the American flag, but they have no clue what it really stands for, like FLOTUS herself.
The flag is merely an object to be ridiculed.
Besides most of us here grew up when that flag was revered and American exceptionalism was encouraged.
Now they grow up in the new Oconomy where the exceptionalism that flag represents has been redefined as guilt
