Obama speaks out on Ferguson report (the usual race-baiting)

President Barack Obama is speaking out about the Justice Department’s report on racial discrimination in the Ferguson, Missouri, police department in the aftermath of 18-year-old Michael Brown’s killing last August.

The policing bias detailed by the department is not isolated only to the north St. Louis suburb, the president said in his first comments since the investigation’s findings were unveiled this week, in an interview with radio host Joe Madison on Sirius XM taped Thursday and aired Friday morning.

At the same time, Obama noted, the bias demonstrated in the report isn’t typical of what happens with most law enforcement across the country. Dealing with rights and liberties with respect to law enforcement is “a big chunk” of the current civil rights agenda, he said, according to The Associated Press, adding that it’s often a matter of broken trust and accountability.

“I think that there are circumstances in which trust between communities and law enforcement have broken down, and individuals or entire departments may not have the training or the accountability to make sure that they’re protecting and serving all people and not just some,” he said, per AP.

The president is scheduled to hold a town hall Friday afternoon in Columbia, South Carolina, to discuss community involvement with college students and youth leaders. The first family will also travel to Selma, Alabama, this weekend to mark the 50th anniversary of the civil rights march.

What is left out of all these stories about Ferguson is the fact that the mayor, chief of police, the D.A. and the governor of the state are all good solid Democrats. If the President had happened to mention that fact, I would say he truly does want to fix a problem. But his continued silence about racist blue cities and states ran by the Democratic machine, means that he is just another race hustler.

If President Obama insists on hanging onto a history that has long since past, why stop with racism? We might as well re-kindle all the hate and ill-will we felt for the British in 1776....those Imperialist bastards!!! Heck, let’s get the Germans while we’re at it....those Nazi Bastards!!! And don’t forget the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor....those sneaky devils!!!

All I know is if If I walked around insinuating that many Germans were Nazi’s, many Japanese were imperialist, and many Brits wanted their colonies back, I would be ridiculed and laughed at. Why do those who imply who imply America is still stuck in 1950’s Selma not get the same treatment?

Here’s a thought: Every country has moments in their history they are not proud of. All borders were unfortunately defined by violence....not just Americas borders. Rather than picking on old scabs, creating guilt, a victim class, and trying desperately to hang onto the ‘good old days of slavery’ when blacks truly were victims, perhaps President Obama should help lead blacks out of their self-imposed rut and into a better future!!!

Just a thought!
