A small plane piloted by Harrison Ford has crash-landed at an L.A. golf course ... but we're told the actor has survived. TMZ has learned ... Ford was piloting what appears to be a vintage 2-seater fighter plane Thursday ... when something went wrong and he crashed into Penmar golf course in Venice, CA. We're told Ford suffered multiple gashes to his head and was bleeding. Two doctors who happened to be at the golf course rushed over to treat the actor. Since it was blown in by the wind, you can remove it.

He’s got a pretty good sized scar chart as is.
Nice landing.
Lando’s got it.
Me too until I thought about the context :)
The only pilot who successfully flew the Granville GB was Jimmy Doolittle who won the Cleveland air races and others in one. The plane was a widow maker

Type of plane that my late Father trained pilots in during WWII.
Nice!
Now wonder he crashed....no Chewie!!!!
LOL! You win the thread!

Fate does not have a memory.
although its serious, I had more laughs from all you freepers than any thread recently. thanks...I needed to laugh today
I know he’s a lefty, but I adore him. To me, he’s the last in the line of John Wayne and Gary Cooper - the last American MAN who became a movie star playing the American MAN. After him? A long string of little boys.
I knew a guy that in training crashed his plane into a golf course, his fighter handle became “Divot”
The morons on Fox were breathlessly calling it a “WWII fighter”...
The Maytag Messerschmitt is a fun aircraft to fly but a difficult plane to land and taxi with power and a complete bitch without power. By design it has a higher stall speed to simulate landing a higher performance fighter like a P-40 of the time. Glad he survived without major injury. He needs to get a Stearman or a Pitts Speacial or an RV4 to fill his flying time.
