The only logical conclusion is that it was all posturing and they didn't want Keystone to pass. Even the ones "on our side" didn't use those indisputable arguments to support pipelines instead of rail transport.

Beyond disgusted.

Some republicans get it. I’ve talked to Wayne Bradley who is the GOP African American outreach director in Detroit. He talks about the danger posed pretty often.
