A former State Department spokesman for Hillary Clinton denied using a private email address to conduct official government business in a lengthy email barrage that began Tuesday night and continued Wednesday.

Clinton has been embroiled in a public records controversy since Monday, when the New York Times reported that she exclusively used a private email address during her four-year tenure at the State Department, a possible violation of federal records law and clearly at odds President Obama’s much-touted transparency directives.

How can they even deny this? People have said she NEVER even used a government email account. So what, she just dealt with all the things a Sec. of State needs to do via ESP or something?

Actually, he only denied using his home email account for State Department business. He did not deny using another non-State Department account such as the one Hillary was using.
Step 1: This was ok during her tenure because regular State Dept email was not secure, and Hilary was doing important work for The American People. New instructions didn’t come out until after she left. Everyone did it, even Republicans.
Step 2: Already been investigated. Old news. Witch Hunt by extremists.
It’s looking like this ‘private email’ thing is standard operating procedure for corrupt government officials to hide their tracks. Of course nothing will come of it due to our ‘good cop, bad cop’ political situation.
Expensive, yes but she did use her senior discount and besides the U.S. taxpayer paid for it!.
This is all a "vast right wing conspiracy" after all, old news, nothing to see, move along.
Give the woman a break, look at what's she's had to contend with, first it's the Paula Jones thing, Monica Lewinsky, now you want to get really mean. She's had to learn about emailing and that takes time. Best to do it in the comfort of home when she's whipping up a batch of her famous cookies!!

Hard to believe that a 21st century US Senator from New York never used e-mail.
Nixon only had an 18 minute gap. HRC, who worked for the Watergate committee, has a several years gap.
