In my dealings with Arabs, they don’t like violence and don’t even like strong demonstrative interaction.

Or perhaps the Arabs you have been interacting with are not typical Arabs, who perhaps came to the US to get away from the violent Arabs.

If you look beyond the county line, it is possible that the Arabs I delt with were actually in Arabia. That was the case.
