Sex offenders (I’m talking serious sex offenders, not some made-up political classification) never again see the light of day.

But then you have to deal with the nineteen year old who has a fifteen year old girlfriend or the 21 year old who meets an underage girl with fake ID in a bar. Those are "serious" offenses...or are they the "made-up political classification" to which you refer?

They would be somewhat intermediate, and dependent upon the exact circumstances.

If a girl has a fake ID, especially, I don’t think she can come to the law with clean hands. Boyfriend and girlfrien? Is this a real relationship or a hook-up?

These are causes for concern, bu are they worthy of life inprison or a lifetime record? I don’t really think so. 19 and 21 years olds are hardly mature themselves, IMO.

On the other hand, an 11-year old home invader who rapes a housewife should never be released.

These are matters for public debate and legislation, but violence, and the threat of such should be a clear, bright line. Again, IMO.

Hope this clarifies things for you.

This might sound crazy, but if they’re that dangerous then WHY ARE WE LETTING THEM OUT OF PRISON?

I agree. Either they're sane enough to live among the general populace, or they should still be locked up.

Not sure exactly what you are saying here.....

2k feet too far...for sexual predators to keep away????

IF the sexual perps...are committing suicide. I've no problem with that.

If you’re in any municipality, there is almost always a church, a school, a playground, or some other place where children might gather. You are effectively banned from living in pretty much any municipality in that particular state.

That also pretty much prevents you from working.
