Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Monday night that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's speech before Congress Tuesday "focuses on the single greatest security threat facing America – the threat of Iran acquiring nuclear weapons."
"We're at a moment in history where echoes of the past can be heard," he added. "The nuclear deal being negotiated with Iran, I believe, would be a historic mistake on the same order as Munich.
"To allow the theocratic extreme mullahs in Iran to have nuclear weapon capability increases dramatically the likelihood that those weapons of great destruction will be used to murder billions," the senator warned.

My Sen Cruz is spot on!
and Obama to Elmer Fudd
I wonder if we will still have a country in time for him to run. If the GOPe has its way, we won’t.
The distinction being that Chamberlain, as wrong headed as he was, actually loved his country- unlike Obama and his jihad “negotiators”.
Yep
I wonder that, too. GOPe is one of our fiercest enemies.
Chamberlain seemed to have gotten a lot of undeserved historical rancor. If he had said no, then Hitler would have invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938. WW2 would have started a year earlier. Big deal.
Who plays Neville Chamberlain? Ooohhhh...
I look forward to voting for Ted Cruz four times, twice in the primaries and twice in the general elections for his first and second Presidency.
Cruz thinks another Reagan can win again. I would agree with him.
The GOPe is the incestuous inbreeding of liberal and moderate ideology. Due this deviancy, GOPe supporters have radically altered DNA sequencing that causes them to act out irrationaly in America whenever they do not get their way. You typically see their aberrant behavior on full display during every election cycle. You even see their rambling, disjointed screed in comments here on the Free Republic from time to time.
Hasn't that been the plan of progressives all along? Find a way to decrease the world population (themselves exempt, of course).
I'm reminded of the indian parable of the Rattlesnake. d:^)
I am afraid that the libdems have so infiltrated the country with illegals and illegally granted them voting rights that an honest election will be impossible...
We have been so screwed......
Another distinction is that Chamberlain eventually realized his policy of appeasement was wrong, and led his coalition to finally confront Hitler. He may not have done it well, but that’s beside the point.
0bama, as you say, does not love his country, and therefore is incapable of seeing that what his doing is wrong. He’s perfectly happy to bring down the United States.
What he may not realize, is that he is fomenting a war, perhaps even a worse one than World War 2, by making America weak. The world he thinks he is saving he is instead leading into chaos of a violent variety.
I do remember England as a child. WW1 saw 900,000 British dead. 160,000 war widows. Thousands of amputees and gas victims. Britain's gold was expended. She initiated paper money and all gold sovereigns called in. Britain was exhausted and just trying to muddle through the end of a depression.
Persons deny the splendid efforts post Munich to build an all-metal fighter force. Only six were operational at Munich speech. I have it that a thousand Hurricane and Spitfires were ready in Sept. 1939.Even the bombers were mostly canvas strengthened with dope- re the Wellington bomber.
Molders of the Luftwaffe got a 100 kills over canvas WW1 vintage Dutch, French, and Polish aircraft. He had an all metal fighter. Imagine- 100!They never had a chance. Our guys would have with their new fighters.
Excuse the rant
I’m convinced that Obama fully realizes that he is setting the conditions for a global war with nuclear consequences. Total Global Fundamental Transformation is his vision. Obama is a meglomaniacal narcissist with an arsonist’s penchant for watching the world burn. He has no intent of saving anything, excpet his own delusional legacy.
