NYT: Hillary conducted official State business on her private e-mail account — all of it
Hot Air ^ | March 2, 2015 | Ed Morrissey

Ever wonder why multiple investigations of the Benghazi attack failed to turn up much from Hillary Clinton’s e-mails? So did the House Select Committee investigating the attack on the facility and the failures that led to it. To their surprise, the Secretary of State had conducted all of her e-mail on a private account rather than an official State Department account — and her aides had carefully culled only the e-mails they wanted investigators to see. The New York Times’ Michael Schmidt dropped that bombshell earlier this evening:

Hillary Rodham Clinton exclusively used a personal email account to conduct government business as secretary of state, State Department officials said, and may have violated federal requirements that officials’ correspondence be retained as part of the agency’s record.

Mrs. Clinton did not have a government email address during her four-year tenure at the State Department. Her aides took no actions to have her personal emails preserved on department servers at the time, as required by the Federal Records Act. …

The existence of Mrs. Clinton’s personal email account was discovered as a House committee investigating the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi sought correspondence between Mrs. Clinton and her aides about the attack.

Two weeks ago, Mrs. Clinton provided the committee with about 300 emails — amounting to roughly 900 pages — about the Benghazi attacks that Mrs. Clinton’s aides had found among her personal emails.

Federal law requires government officials to conduct business communications on official media, for lots of good reasons. First, it allows for archival without the officials in question having an opportunity to “sanitize” the record. Second — and this is pretty important for the diplomatic corps — it allows the government to protect against intrusion from other nations and entities. Hillary’s practice of doing business through private servers bypassed both of those key protections.

He campaign will no doubt showcase her travels and meetings with foreign leaders. The fact that it producing nothing good and plenty bad - won’t feature in the feel good ads, or in any MSM coverage of her (why start now?).

The best I can find when searching for the reasoning for the German mind of the era is “Normalcy Bias”.

But that doesn’t help much; doesn’t give a plan of action.

I’m tempted to say “what difference does it make”, but the cynical side of me thinks this is a bad news story purposefully put out well in advance of her April announcement.

“I’m pretty sure this is criminal.”

For some in this country, yes. Not for her though. She’s Hillary! Queen of the Seawitches.

“That, alone, is a felony.”

True. And Eric Holder will do nothing about it.

Very interesting post. You were fortunate to have made a highly respectable choice and to appreciate an important and fine education.

Public education and academia has mostly groomed America for collapse, by our own democratic, ignorant hand. Academia laughs and our Kardashian nation rules. Sad, isn’t it?

I agree. And I also think that someone high-up already knew about this, and let it skate, so that they could have leverage in the future, just in case... I believe that would qualify for aiding and abetting a felony, but it would never stick, just as it won’t stick to Hitlery...

“But don’t you understand that this is Hillary Clinton... the smartest human being ever to occupy this planet.”

Here’s a brief transcript of what the smartest woman on the planet sounds like and how our lapdog government/media handles her :

Investigator : Did you conduct state affairs through a personal, non government archived email address?

Hillary : I don’t remember my brain’s in a blender it’s Jell-o!

Investigator : Your IQ is supposed to be off the charts. You don’t remember something this simple. Something that every single Republican in DC obeys?

Hillary : My memory is kind of hazy. I don’t remember. No, I don’t remember.

Investigator : Oh well! I believe you. Some advice your highness. Please use Scope next time since your breath smells like weeks old rotting Long John Silvers take out that Huma served you. And you have my vote in 2016!

Pig : Will do! And be sure to stop by Ft. Marcy later today as my husband has a surprise for you!

I detest this fraud grifter.

I wish I could post what I really think of the bitch, but profanity is not allowed on Free Republic ... and a lot of my profanity is pretty foul when it comes to her. She’s an exemption to the rule that “only a person with a limited vocabulary uses profanity”. Profanity is the only subset of the English language that can accurately describe her.

I can’t see how someone that is synonymous with the word FAILURE is so significant in the political arena.

I really hope someone sheds some light on this family before I die. I really have to see what in the hell the Clintons have on everyone in D.C. There isn’t any logical explanation for their power ... none!

What’s amazing is that her email antics will not matter. It’ll be brushed under the rug. She can go about her business and move along.

A good Republican candidate would bring this up on the campaign trail or in debates to knock her off kilter and get her screechy, sickening voice to start spewing nonsense ... they won’t though. They’ll simply state that they’re good friends.

Unless its Cruz or Walker, they’ll tip toe around this skank and let her win. Any non-RINO would slaughter her in the general election regardless of the billions of dollars at her disposal.

The author was on “Morning Joe” this morning and admitted that Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice didn’t use government email addresses either. He said Kerry is the first to have a state department email address.

Times working for Warren..

Something you have to understand about progressives is that they are always pointing to the next one in line as the one who will finally fix everything. That being the case, to them it doesn't matter what abject failures any previous progressives have been, because all focus is on the new face, with the new ideas, the new promises, and the new lies. It's the humanized version of the 5-year plan.

Hillary won't be the candidate in 2016.
