Didn’t Obama & Co. recently try to harass police in Ferguson with threats of violating constitutionally nonexistent federal civil rights laws in order to win votes from low-information voters?
And now lawless Obama wants to exercise constitutionally nonexistant federal gov. powers to protect police?

Let’s make something clear this liar isn’t even talking about cops getting shot with an AR-15 rifle. Any moron knows that rifles will penetrate soft armor with any ammunition. He says:
Mr. Earnest added, “This seems to be an area where everyone should agree that if there are armor-piercing bullets available that can fit into easily concealed weapons, that it puts our law enforcement at considerably more risk.”
He’s claiming that your AR pistol is “easily concealable”. I don’t know what kind of clown pants you wear but I’m gonna say no, it’s not.
But what about those .223 derringers? They have a .8” barrel and the fireball is the biggest danger. The bullet comes out about 1200 fps, so they are significantly less powerful than most pistols.
Easily conceal an 18-20" barrel rifle, this goof choked on his own words.
It’s made by a lot of different companies with different powder formulations.
The M855A1 and M855 are not the same.
Is that before or after Obama sics the DOJ on them for civil rights violations?

How many LEOs have been killed with an “assault” rife using .223 ammo? How many LEOs have been killed with a hand gun?
This is pure unadulterated crap.
Not just scapegoat a kind of gun, scapegoat the kind of gun that figured in less than 1% of fatalities of officers pursuing lawful duties?

How many cops were EVER shot with a “cop killer” tefflon coated pistol bullet?
If none were, how do we know the bullet is a “cop killer”?
Under 2% of gun crimes involve `assault rifles’.
