Especially when Fairyboy, exhibiting as he has a slavish devotion to 'progressive' doctrine, has indicated that

a) he believes Israel is an occupier and oppressor of Palestinian muslims

b) has said he believes the world would be better off without American hegemony. What better way to reduce American power than by guaranteeing military parity between us and an aggressive Islamic state?

The fact that Iran promises to 'correct' the Israel problem is a bonus.
