jebbush is running as a spoiler. He might as well be a paid operative for Hitlery.
He’s sucking up a lot of money that could be used for a viable conservative candidate. This money will be used to viciously attack his conservative competitors and undermine the nominee if jebbush isn’t the winner.
His contributors know that if jebbush wins the nomination, he will surely lose the presidential election because even fewer conservatives will vote for the lesser of two evils when the circumstances are so dire, and the differences between Hitlery and jebbush are so small.

You nailed it with your analytical post, Grumpy.

Jeb doesn't care what the CPAC straw poll showed, not a whit. He sleep-walked through the Hannity/Bush dog-and-pony show. His visit to this CPAC event was essentially a must-go courtesy call only.

The lightweight or faux conservatives who will egotistically enter the 2016 primaries (too many, of course) will split the conservative vote....while the soft-spoken, well-spoken, non-scary, non-threatening, teddy bear-ish Bush will be the big beneficiary of votes from the masses of low-information and center/left GOP voters.

This is the strategery scenario Jeb is visualizing for the primaries along with his veteran campaign staffers....a scenario they will promote along with a cooperative media and the establishment-controlled National Republican Committee.

Just because he finished last at CPAC shouldn't cause a single Republican to underestimate Jeb Bush....or to count him out.

What a depressing post you wrote, and probably true.
