How did I know this article was coming?

Obama will never leave office.

We are a dictatorship. Obama should try on some of those spiffy military-style uniforms. Ghadafi had a sense of style. Perhaps Obama can reach that level.

I will be killed or messed-with by the government for this post, BTW.

The heck with it. I done enough living. It was fun.

If he doesn’t leave, I think many peoples’ lives get very simple real quick.

No.

Many shouldn’t even serve one term.

Obama could easily have a third term if he wants one. First, he would get the Roberts Supreme Court to greenlight it—perhaps by ruling that the 22nd Amendment doesn’t apply to blacks. Then he would face negligible primary opposition before finally crushing the GOP’s Bush/McConnell ticket in a massive landslide.

IIRC, they asked the same question during Clinton’s term.

Funny how this question never gets asked during Republican Administrations...

“Should a President be allowed to serve a third term?”

Not just, “NO, but HELL, NO!”

“And should members of Congress and the Supreme Court have term limits like the President?”

Not just, “YES, but HELL, YES!”

Add the Senate, too, although they are assumed to be members of “Congress”.

If he runs for a third term who is going to stop him? The Constitution is constantly ignored by nearly everyone in DC. Those that don’t ignore it enable the ones that do.

No to the first question, and yes to the second. We have become a government of self serving, self important geezers. Twelve years is enough time for anyone to play in our Congress. After that, Congresscritters should go get real jobs, and get off the public dole. ...Eight years is more time than any fool should be president, and longer than any nation should have to suffer one.

Should a second termer suddenly or unexpectedly declare a national crisis and cancel elections indefinitely, then technical that president would only be serving 2 terms even if they were to die of old age while in office.

From my old studies of the Roman Empire, Sulla did something like that.

Ronald Reagan himself wanted to repeal the 22nd Amendment.

I remember seeing him on TV speaking about repealing presidential term limits while he was president, saying, “Not for me, but for future presidents.”

Thank God President Reagan’s comments were ignored by the powers that be.

If he cancelled elections, he wouldn’t have to run for a third and then he would be complying with the 22nd amendment. I’m sure that holder and sycophants would concur with the logic.
He has granted amnesty to illegals, he can now censor the Internet, so why can’t he cancel elections?

The trial balloons will come fast and furious. Anyone who supports the Constitution and especially the 22nd will be branded a racist.
