I guess you never read the book or saw the movie God is Real about that little kid who supposedly died and spent about 90 minutes in Heaven speaking to Jesus. Then he was brought back by the doctors. Or God helped them out...

Yes, I did hear about this book and the little boy. But to set the record straight, I also heard some weeks ago on either Fox or Freerepublic that the little boy retracted his story, and said that it never happened. Bottom line is when it is you time to go, you will go. Very briefly I can tell you that I've had some experience with paranormal activity since I was 15. My Dad died in 1973 and I was very close to him. One evening, about a year later, as I fell asleep one evening, I awoke to find myself sitting at a picnic table in the yard of my family home. I looked down at the table and to the left and I couldn't see where the table ended. It went through our yard, across the street nd through the house directly across the street from our home. Then I looked to the right and saw the picnic table stretched out through our yard, across the alley and through the fence and house of our neighbor's right behind our yard. I noticed that the picnic table was about 12” wide, and thought that if two pairs of hands were folded on the table across from one another, the hands would almost be touching, the table was that narrow, but NOT quite. not quite. And then I looked up and saw my Dad, with a big smile on his face. Standing next to him was a man with white hair in a dutch boy haircut, with bangs across his forehead and his hair length coming dowm to his earlobe. He was wearing a white, short-sleeved dress shirt and white pants. But most importantly, his face just shone, glowed in the sunlight and I knew he was my Dad's guide or Guardian Angel. I also noticed that the Guardian Angel was standing so close to my Dad that his lower arm was up against my Dad's upper arm, and I thought you couldn't slide a piece of paper between their two arms. I also noticed that Then I looked back at my Dad and began to hear his voice, though his lips weren't moving, and I said out loud, “my Dad is talking to me telepathically! And this is what he said, “Mary, death is NOT what you think it is.” And I then heard myself say, “well, what do I think death is.” The next thing I knew I was awake in my bed. I woke my husband up and told him what happened and then wrote down all that I had remembered. I was told by paraormal sources that I had a “Visitation” from my Dad. It was not a dream, because in a dream, the details are fuzzy, and no message is left by the person in a dream. A Visitation, on the other hand, is when a loved one appears to you with a message to give you, and then the Visitation is ended. Additionally, in a Visitation, everthing is in bright colors. The sky was very blue and the sun was brightly shining, and I could feel the perspiration on my scalp and face from sitting on the bench in the hot sun..I could smell the flowers and the grass in the yard and hear the birds chirping. And the Guardian Angel and my Dad were very vivid in detail to me. But I always felt that there was more to the Visitation than met the eye. What was the meaning behind the symbolism of a picnic table with no beginning and no end? What was the meaning behind the symbolism of a picnic table 12 inches wide, and the hands almost touching, but not quite? And so I wracked my brain to figure it out, and finally, the answer came to me one day last year. It was almost as if I could hear my Dad's voice telling me that the meaning of the symbolism of the table with no beginning and no end is that when a loved one dies, they are separated from us permantly, for eternity. And the meaning of the narrow picnic table and the hands almost touching, but NOT quite is that, although our loved ones are separated from us permanently, “we are always near, as I heard my Dad say to me. It means that they see and hear you and know of the goings-on in your life on Earth. They can touch you, though you will not be able to feel it, though some people can feel the presence of a loved one in the room. I've since had Visitations from both my Mom and my husband, after they died. I don't know why I've been blessed to have experienced these Visitations, but I'm so grateful and at peace knowing what I know. I hope my experiences will help others know when they are dreaming and when they are having a Visitation, and that there is a spiritual life after death. And from the memory of the big smile on my Dad's face, it is something not to be afraid of, but to embrace.
