Republicans leave Obama amnesty untouched...
Laaaadieees annnnd Gennnntlemen.. I give you the eGOP 2015.
Any similiarity to 2005 is purely coincidental, I am sure. ;-)
That’s the problem, it was the GOP, not conservatives. The GOP fought tooth and nail to shut conservatives out, harder than they will ever fight the left. That should tell us something.
To vote to approve funding for illegal actions transforms that action into legal action. A “yes” vote is the enabler and thus approval just as if it was a law passed through both houses and signed by the president.
To de-fund a passed law, like the PPACA is a totally different type of fight.
Fix is in. Everything going accord to GOPe plan. It was reported McConnell did not even whip Dems to vote for cloture on filibustered DHS bill.
Vichy? I think Quisling might be closer to the truth.
I commend you sir. That was my first smile today. My next belly laugh will be when Boner totally goes limp. Ha!! very soon now.
Yep. Reconciliation bills are not subject to filibuster. The Senate has to vote up or down. Then we can see who the RINOs really are.
The Senate has no authority to introduce a spending bill. All spending bills must originate in the House. This is just a political ploy to take heat off McConnell.
I'm glad I was able to help brighten your day. :-)
Hoping for the courts has always worked out for us before.
My fears have just been realized, Bonehead will sell out in 1.2.3.
Traitorous Bastards
How did I know Corker and Alexander would be on the list?
> got to get rid of those RINOS....
You don’t get it, do you?
Those aren’t RINOs, those are true Republicans; it is us, who might get fed up, say “No, you earn my vote!”, and then vote for someone else who are RINOs.
Regarding the Republican Party’s betrayal...fool me once, shame on you, fool me time and time again, shame on ME. The Republican Party is dead to me at this time. The recovery of this country will take time and in the meantime it will be a painful time for us all. A Conservative must be nominated, and we must all come together and support the best Conservative candidate. This will be my main focus.
I sure hope that is the case.
> So if Boehner holds the line
Bwahahahaha — You should go into comedy.
I just called Rubio’s office to thank them/him for the NO vote.
I’m surprised actually.
Both GA senators voted no.
Isakson decided (the day after Nov 4!) to run again in 2016, and Perdue (newly elected in 2014) both voted “Nay”
