RE: Dilute and destroy America

I recall an interview (KSFO San Francisco I think) in the late 1990s with the author of a book about the organized effort to replace American workers with foreigners who would keep their foreign citizenship. The US of A would be gone and there would be nothing more than a world economic zone. The Americans not joining in would be isolated and eventually die off.

I cannot recall enough about the details to find the book.

Rush expressed a few "what if's."

Here's a specific one that I bet Obama is already aware of because a good friend of his has the "solution" for FreeRepublic.com.

What if the FCC was tasked to deal with "group polarization," where people segregate themselves so effectively online with other like-minded thinkers that they create an echo chamber where the group's worst and most malevolent opinions get reinforced and strengthened. Well Obama's close friend has the solution do deal with such a malevolent site like.. FreeRepublic.com.

Here's how President Obama's head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs and author of "Republic.com," Cass Sunstein, describes FreeRepublic.com as "group polarization," where people segregate themselves so effectively online with other like-minded thinkers that they create an echo chamber where the group's worst and most malevolent opinions get reinforced and strengthened. "We might want to consider," Sunstein startlingly told the Times recently, "the possibility of ways of requiring or encouraging sites to link to opposing viewpoints."

He recently left the Administration and is an employee of Harvard I think.
