Rush expressed a few "what if's."

Here's a specific one that I bet Obama is already aware of because a good friend of his has the "solution" for FreeRepublic.com.

What if the FCC was tasked to deal with "group polarization," where people segregate themselves so effectively online with other like-minded thinkers that they create an echo chamber where the group's worst and most malevolent opinions get reinforced and strengthened. Well Obama's close friend has the solution do deal with such a malevolent site like.. FreeRepublic.com.

Here's how President Obama's head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs and author of "Republic.com," Cass Sunstein, describes FreeRepublic.com as "group polarization," where people segregate themselves so effectively online with other like-minded thinkers that they create an echo chamber where the group's worst and most malevolent opinions get reinforced and strengthened. "We might want to consider," Sunstein startlingly told the Times recently, "the possibility of ways of requiring or encouraging sites to link to opposing viewpoints."

He recently left the Administration and is an employee of Harvard I think.

Why should Rush be shocked at what they're teaching in schools.. his adopted home town newspaper's editors blamed us a long times ago..

Within hours of 9/11/2001 the best and brightest Bee brains opined that the attacks were partly our fault (cannot remember if they used the word "attacks" it was probably more like the "events"). You see we just don't try to "understand" the rest of world, 9/11 was their message to us.

Just a few weeks after that the publisher of the Bee, Ms Janis Heaphy, was booed off the stage at a local university as she condemned the Bush administration for being "mean" to suspected terrorists.

The Bee employees decried the ignorance of those in the audience.
