Scott Walker 'wants to make America great again' [link to all CPAC talks]

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md.–Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker electrified the CPAC conservative audience on Thursday afternoon by asserting the victories he has achieved in his home state can be achieved on a national level.

...“Today in Washington, we have a president who thinks we grow the economy by growing Washington,...We believe in an America that is growing the economy in cities and towns all across America.”

...“..true freedom and prosperity does not come from the mighty hand of the government,..It comes from empowering people to live their own lives and to determine their own destinies..."

...“there is a reason we celebrate the Fourth of July instead of April 15, because in America we celebrate our independence from the government not our dependence upon the government.”

.....“Today, the test scores of the students in our state are the second best in the country. Our graduation rates and our reading scores are up over the past four years, because we put the power back into the hands of the taxpayers and the people they elect to run their school boards.”...

“...We were a state that was taxed and taxed and taxed. After four years as governor, I’m proud to say we’ve reduced the tax burden by nearly $2 billion,..by 2016, homeowners in the state will be paying less in property taxes than they paid in 2010.

...“We’ve led the way with lawsuits to get regulatory reform,...We defunded Planned Parenthood and signed pro-life legislation...In Wisconsin, you now need a voter ID to cast a ballot.”......

Also strange is that they all profess love of Cruz and are surprizingly articulate, which suggests they really are not flaming libs but might really be Cruz supporters. Or, as I suspect, a single Cruz supporter with multiple personalities.

It was the constant booming coming from the Isthmus that annoyed the heck out of me. Primitive savages and their drums.

Walker’s being sleazy about his pro-amnesty/open border ways, too. Look at this interview with Hannity. At close to the 5 minute mark, Sean asks if illegals should be given citizenship: http://video.foxnews.com/v/4083311434001/scott-walker-we-need-strong-leadership-now-more-than-ever/?playlist_id=930909813001#sp=show-clips

Walker closes his eyes and squeezes out a disinformation non-answer, saying, as all pro-amnesty pols do and his PR guy has already falsely claimed to be his position, “No amnesty” before going on to “secure our borders” (the second favorite line of pro-amnesty pols). He never addresses citizenship, which he has repeatedly previously backed for illegals after a period of time in which they are merely ‘legal’. And, as to closing the borders, Walker has previously said he’d make it so easy for anyone from Mexico or anywhere else who wants to come here to do so legally, such that they’d have no incentive to bother crossing the border illegally. (Which obviates his claim in this interview about making employers use e-verify—what use if that if illegals are made legal anyway?)

LOL. I'm a graduate student in Bama. I'm smart, educated, articulate, a Conservative-of-One who will only vote once for Cruz, and well aware of the efforts of some Walker supporters here that will Alinsky attack their rival Cruz supporters for an advantage. What is interesting is that I have yet to hear a Walker supporter defend him from the obviously inconvienient facts that I have proffered that spotlight his support for comprehensive immigration reform, aka amnesty.

My IP address location should check out to the mods. I really don't know of any Soros commando teams down here in Bama. This state is redder than a tomato in heat.

Ask me about the disturbance in the front row of Sarah Palin's speech. I was there and witnessed it.

At that he’s probably 1000 times more qualified that obama was when he was first elected.
