The Texas Republic— filed fake legal documents, that is “served” papers to the judge and a banker to “appear” in their “court” at the Veterans building for a “hearing”. That is to appear in a court with no legal (in the sense of current legal system of Texas) basis.
Doing this- is against the law. Not to mention, damn stupid, sense trying to re-establish the Texas Republic legally is something they could do.. through legal means and with a hell of a lot of monetary support. All they did was supply ammo that “secession” is... against the law. It isn’t. But doing what they did, is and was. A stupid exercise on both parts. Heavy hand of obamaites readily applied by the “idle” police state. Stupid also.
Meanwhile the Sharia legal courts in Dallas may continue...

Now that is a no no. They have no standing to do that. I wonder who the genius was that thought that up. Folks if you’re going to keep shooting yourself in the foot and not be smarter than your opponent how can you expect to succeed at anything you endeavor to do?
If the documents they “served” were worded properly I don’t see how they would be illegal. If the wording was something to the effect of “requesting your presence” and was not demanding I see no problem with it. Those served would have been free to ignore it. If the ROT folks saw fit to pursue it further then their actions could have become illegal.
Wouldn’t make a ripple if they had told the officials to appear in a sharia court.
Good analysis.
It may well come to secession, but doing it stupidly by some “playground group” plays right into the tyrant’s hands.
Just sounds like an idiotic publicity stunt, on the part of the Republic of Texas bunch.
Yes, those in Texas must abide by all laws, rules and regulations. Like the honorable in government do.
is their court different from Sharia courts?
“Doing this- is against the law. “
I’m guessing the person who suggested the idea knew that it was against the law and the rubes fell for it.
