It seemed like a typical congressional meeting for the Republic of Texas. Senators and the president gathered in the center of a Bryan, Texas, meeting hall, surrounded by public onlookers, to debate issues of the national currency, develop international relations and celebrate the birthday of one of their oldest members.
But this wasn't 1836, and this would be no ordinary legislative conference. Minutes into the meeting a man among the onlookers stood and moved to open the hall door, letting in an armed and armored force of the Bryan Police Department, the Brazos County Sheriff's Office, the Kerr County Sheriff's Office, Agents of the Texas District Attorney, the Texas Rangers and the FBI.
In the end, at least 20 officers corralled, searched and fingerprinted all 60 meeting attendees, before seizing all cellphones and recording equipment in a Valentine's Day 2015 raid on the Texas separatist group....

Just setting up your won court system is against the rules. Substitute Sharia Court for Texas Republic Court and you can see how that might be scary for the powers that are.
What the feds have been doing to get the cooperation of many police agencies is giving them DHS vehicles and grants. I have had people send me photographs of them. They will day something like XXX County Sheriff’s Officd and then undeneath that it will say Department of Homeland Security
I think they would be very pleased.
Take away Texas 38 Republican evs, and the Dems have a permanent lock on US POTUS elections.

Escalate their response. They want violence that they can blame on others as pap for the low information voters.
Even “loony-tunes” folk can go too far. They send out their fake, symbolic sub poenas and there’s no reaction. So, what do the loony-tunes do next? And after that? And so on. How long do we wait before it reaches a critical point?

Now that is a no no. They have no standing to do that. I wonder who the genius was that thought that up. Folks if you’re going to keep shooting yourself in the foot and not be smarter than your opponent how can you expect to succeed at anything you endeavor to do?
According to the article DHS had nothing to do with it. Texas and the FBI/DOJ were running this operation.
Actually DHS is quite limited to which laws they can enforce. DOJ owns domestic terrorism unless there is an immigration angle to the case.
DHS spends their time releasing illegal immigrants, seizing counterfeit products, looking through underwear at the airport, kiddy porn and writing intel briefings nobody but the media take seriously.
During the 2008 election, the media played up Todd Palin’s supposed links to some Alaskan secessionist movement. They did not pay the same attention to Obama’s support for the Hawaiian secessionist movement.
He’s still supportive.

In its latest assault on the U.S. Constitution, the Obama administration is proposing to recognize so-called “Native” Hawaiians as an Indian tribe entitled to separate and become an independent sovereign and to “reestablish” a “government-to-government relationship between the United State and the Native Hawaiian community.”
Such an unconstitutional action would amount to authorizing secession for certain residents of Hawaii.
It would also implicitly authorize government-sanctioned, discriminatory conduct against any other residents who don’t meet the explicit ancestry and blood-quantum requirements to be considered a “Native.” This would balkanize Hawaii, dividing the islands into separate racial and ethnic enclaves, and undo “the political bargain through which Hawaii secured its admission into the Union.”
Meanwhile in local mosques Islamic terrorists are plotting mass murder and no one gives a damn.
Dallas HAS a Sharia courts system with Islamists calling themselves judges.

And yet the DNCmedia is playing up the horror show that will occur if the Republicans delay further funding of DHS just because of Obama's amnesty program for illegals.

Why yes they do. We truly live in a police state. With that said, this group, Republic of Texas has checkered past.
The Ranger Service took a big nose dive in the mid-late 90’s. They are political fodder now.
"You can't just let people go around filing false documents to judges trying to make them appear in front of courts that aren't even real courts," said Kerr County sheriff Rusty Hierholzer, who led the operation.
The show of force may be a little excessive, but this wasn't a BS search warrant. Don't send a summons unless it is legitimate.

The US actually has the highest amount of law enforcement per capita in the world.
