What did we tell them with our votes? We told them it doesn’t matter what they do in Washington, when it is reelection time enough of us will hold our noses and send them back. How many disappointing rinos got reelected? How many censures did Graham chaulk up, but he is back in DC. The Republican in Mississippi bought Democrat votes so he could win his primary, and yet the stupid voters in that state sent reelected him.

Truth is, this is the reason so many promising conservatives flip when they get to Washington. They are quickly schooled on how little they are held accountable. All they have to do is sound like a conservative during the election cycle, and the people who register Republican, will vote for the R.

In Washington a new electee soon finds out that if he plays the game he will be wealthy for life even if he loses his next election. If he does not pplay the game he not only will be limited in wealth to his own efforts but the Party will use tremendous assets to see that he does not return to Washington in two or 6 years. Almost all opt for the secure and wealthy life.

you are right, but, sadly, we have passed the tipping point in most parts of the country. Now, if you run on self-sufficiency and smaller government, you are unelectable.
