The Republican resistance in Congress surrendered to President Obamas call to protect an open Internet, with rules likely to be approved by regulators on Thursday.

Can't wait for the usual suspects who tell us each and every election we have to vote for the rinos to keep the demonrats out of office.
Lol, what a great scam for the gullible...it's like the Energizer Bunny of politics.
Every election the scam keeps working and working and working and working...
That’s why I said vote for conservatives instead of liberals.
The “Uniparty” epithet is perfectly accurate. Things are one-party in DC, and with the whole “bipartisan” blather over the past few decades, it was always so and more intensely (openly) so after Reagan at least.
They are not stupid. Their goals are not what hey advertised. They are deceivers but and wannabe oligarchs but they are not stupid except in that they believe that there is some share in the New Order for them. There is not. They will be used so long as they are needed and then ... well, by then they will be killed or lobotomized or something else disabling. In a totalist despotism room at the top shrinks rapidly as production ow wealth declines precipitously and the elite must shrink in order to retain its sumptuous lifestyle. The Revolution, indeed, must eat its children.
In Washington a new electee soon finds out that if he plays the game he will be wealthy for life even if he loses his next election. If he does not pplay the game he not only will be limited in wealth to his own efforts but the Party will use tremendous assets to see that he does not return to Washington in two or 6 years. Almost all opt for the secure and wealthy life.
The news media is the problem and it’s why we have any problems at all . and the main culprit are the ones who wrote this article the NY times.
I call it the Imperial Party.
They didn’t stand up to Obama on gun control. Remember the Hoeven-Corker gun bill? They would have gladly passed stricter gun legislation but the voters dissuaded members of both parties.
> By funding this madness the congress RATIFIES IT
Off topic, but apply that to “executive amnesty”. By funding it they undermine the stay the States obtained. A future court will claim this is the intent of Congress, even though it is not legislated act. The GOP is all for amnesty and will do whatever it takes to obtain it. Law, no law, doesn’t matter.
The GOP is forcefully in support of the Democrat agenda. Pick your issue, the GOP will kick you in the crotch stick a knife in your back and side with the Democrats. Ignore their rhetoric, the head fakes, look at their deeds. Pick the issue where they don’t. Very few, if any.
I did not for GOP last fall. And to all u bozos who did you are no better than blacks on the DNC plantation. Think about that seriously before ever voting again period. Idiots.
Will someone give us list of how they voted?
I sat out the midterms anticipating the impotence and cowardice of the GOP. I feel vindicated, but that gives me no measure of satisfaction.
Let me see if I understand. The Republicans are lonesome loosers, here (often life-like) senator John Thune conceding like a Frenchman, even though we just gave the GOP the Senate as well as the House ...
But if we don’t reward this feckless fighting spirit of the Republicrats, who appear to be acting in collusion with Reid & Co., by giving them the White House, as well, presumably to be occupied by some Republican who either wags a disapproving finger at—or awards medals to—Democrats who should be facing grand juries, well then ... if we are disgusted with our “champions” truckling to Democrats, who ran roughshod over the GOP when they ran the zoo, but now they are behind the wheel while Democrats still bark driving instructions from the back seat, then those of us standing by who answered the GOP’s calls for help last fall, now with our chins on our chests, well, now we’re just “puppets” or “mindless robots”?
This is about the right time, I think, to ask you, Democrat_Media—exactly what color is the sky in your world?
All I want is a Constitutional , fiscally conservative government. I have done my best to vote to this end. I’m disgusted by the results.
True, just the title makes me think they want us peons to give up and give in. Don't do it, write, call, tweet, let them know what we think.
We've stopped them before, don't let them hold us back now.
WOW! When did I piss in your cereal?
I didn’t say any of that ridiculous dribble you are spewing. all I said this article is from the NY times. and if you think that the NY times and the media is not the problem then you are living in a fantasy world.
Yes what you say is exactly my point. Yours is an excellent post. the NY times wrote this article to make us give up. The NY times wants net neutrality and socialism and to turn USA into a socialist state.
The Ny times wrote this article here you are all going ape over exactly to get us to give up so that we think this battle over net neutrality is over. and you do what the NY times wants. funny you are helping your destroyer destroy you and America. your destroyer is who wrote this article the NY times and the media.
