Yeah, he served honorably in the Navy, legal field, House, Senate, Vice Presidency and Presidency with a few exceptions. Probably one of the best Vice Presidents/Acting Presidents in American history, actually.

The Nixon thing is only for context. The bigger comparison is that of the Republicans in Nixon's day vs the Democrats of today.

"Some Democrat Senators privately say..." will also cause some finger pointing g and defensive behavior that will be fun to watch!
