I don’t have a problem with legal immigration in that it should be open and fair admission as far as applicants WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE to the society as a whole goes. However, when immigration becomes a political tool for demographic and ideological gerrymandering, then I have a big problem with it. Obama has taken the status of declaring entrants as refugees way too far in my opinion.

The unlimited and no questions policy of letting anyone who crosses our southern borders get rewarded with being able to stay and receive government benefits is B.S. My parents, like most others, had to wait years to immigrate, were required to have a sponsor and had to sign that they would not and could not receive any government benefits for five years after their entry. Sounds a tad different from obama’s favored class, no?
