That and "hell hath no fury like an embarrassed leftist".
Doesn’t 0bamacare cover self-inflicted journalist delusions?
Yawn
Is David Corn your best bud?
O’Reilly’s only “war zone” encounters were with his ex-wife Maureen when she called the bastard out on his many affairs with female “colleagues”.
Thank God she got out of a horrible marriage and took the old creepy bastard for large sums of money!
BOR was on Media Buzz this afternoon and claimed that all who accused him of lying are liars and otherwise filthy disgusting vermin. I may be paraphrasing a bit here. Regardless BOR won’t take this lying down and it could be fun to watch unfold.
Did I miss the Megyn Kelly quote?
B0R is a whirling dervish when it comes to spinning for his pinhead self.
Sounds like Maple Street to me.
What role does Megyn Kelly play in this? What am I missing?
I don’t believe Corn, Mother Jones or Gawker about anything.
The old "look everybody does it" scenario.
Let the provable truth come out, no matter which way it cuts.
the era of Brian Williams continues.......
Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see Megyn Kelly’s name in the article.
Speaking of “twisting,” Eric Engberg is the same CBS reporter who produced the infamous “fact check” on Steve Forbes’s flat tax during the 1996 campaign. It was so distorted, unfair and biased that it prompted Bernie Goldberg to write his famous op-ed for the WSJ that ended his career at CBS. Since then, Engberg has refused to speak with Goldberg; it’s unsurprising he is unwilling to appear on the O’Reilly Factor and confront Bill in person. Typical, gutless liberal coward.
Clearly, Mr. Engberg is anything but an objective reporter. He remained a second-tier correspondent at CBS for 27 years by toeing the liberal line and keeping his lips spot-welded to all the right backsides.

Bill O’Reilly, Talking Points Memo 2/20/2015, A Response to Mother Jones
O’Reilly factor. talking Points Memo.
2/20/2015:
“I never said I was on the Falkland Islands as Corn purports. I said I covered the Falklands War, which I did.”
Now contrast and compare this to the following from O’Reilly:

What Bill O’Reilly has said about his time during the Falklands War
2/20/2015
http://money.cnn.com/2015/02/20/media/bill-oreilly-falklands-war/
“2001: O’Reilly wrote in his book “The No-Spin Zone: Confrontations with the Powerful and Famous in America,” that his time covering war made him ready for anything. “You know that I am not easily shocked,” he wrote. “I've reported on the ground in active war zones from El Salvador to the Falkland island...”
“2008: Seven years ago on the “O’Reilly factor...”By the way, I missed Moyers in the war zones of the Falkland conflict in Argentina...”
“2008: During an interview on his Fox News show, O’Reilly once again described the protest but said it took place “in a war zone in Argentina, in the Falklands.”
Apparently no one way as on the ground IN the Falkland islands.
David Corn took him to task over these and other things.
O’Reilly could have simply said that he did not report “on the ground in...the Falkland Islands, and that he was not in a “war zone...in the Falklands” and not make this about some left-wing attack, some culture war, some guttersnipe attack. Perhaps is was a diversionary tactic on his part?
It is quite ironic that O’Reilly, far from being a conservative, used the -— I'm under attack from left-wingers! defense/attack.
And it seems that more than one CBS staffer has taken O’Reilly to task over what happened in Argentina.
In the end, it all comes down to what O'Reilly said and whether O’Reilly was actually in the Falklands..
