Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a prospective Republican presidential contender, said Saturday he does not know whether President Obama is a Christian.
I dont know, Walker said in an interview at the JW Marriott hotel in Washington, where he was attending the winter meeting of the National Governors Association.
Told that Obama has frequently spoken publicly about his Christian faith, Walker maintained that he was not aware of the presidents religion.
Ive actually never talked about it or I havent read about that, Walker said, his voice calm and firm. Ive never asked him that, he added. Youve asked me to make statements about people that I havent had a conversation with about that. How [could] I say if I know either of you are a Christian?
Walker said such questions from reporters are reflective of a broader problem in the nations political-media culture, which he described as fixated on issues that are not relevant to most Americans.

its a good answer
That said, I prefer the way Rudy beotch-slapped the pResident and then refused to back down.
As my mother would often ask me....
And what does this have to do with the price of tea in China?
No religion is a valid excuse for systematic, chronic
treason made under color of law.
If this is all the rats have, they must really want him out of the race.
FALSANI:
Whos Jesus to you?
(He laughs nervously)
OBAMA:
Right.
Jesus is an historical figure for me, and hes also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher.
And hes also a wonderful teacher. I think its important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history.
FALSANI:
Do you pray often?
OBAMA:
Uh, yeah, I guess I do.
Its not formal, me getting on my knees. I think I have an ongoing conversation with God. I think throughout the day, Im constantly asking myself questions about what Im doing, why am I doing it.
Media baiting Republican candidates again with questions designed to draw them into social issues. The Pubbies fall for it every time. Instead of saying anything, he should have asked the “reporter” what the point of his question was. Don’t play their game.
For purposes of this claim, the Obamaspeak dictionary defines "frequently" as: several occurrences within a brief period of time, every 4 years.
FALSANI:
What do you believe?
OBAMA:
I am a Christian.
So, I have a deep faith. So I draw from the Christian faith.
On the other hand, I was born in Hawaii where obviously there are a lot of Eastern influences.
I lived in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, between the ages of six and 10.
My father was from Kenya, and although he was probably most accurately labeled an agnostic, his father was Muslim.
And Id say, probably, intellectually Ive drawn as much from Judaism as any other faith.
So, Im rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and theres an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived.
And so, part of my project in life was probably to spend the first 40 years of my life figuring out what I did believe Im 42 now and its not that I had it all completely worked out, but Im spending a lot of time now trying to apply what I believe and trying to live up to those values.
Much better than this NON-answer:
FALSANI:
Have you always been a Christian?
OBAMA:
I was raised more by my mother and my mother was Christian.
That is NOT a Christian explaination of who Jesus Christ is.
The response should be, “While the president has professed his Christian faith, he has lied so many times about so many things that it is impossible to know what religion he is.”
God I hate the media. I wish Walker would have told these scumbags to go piss up a rope.
The leftist media is asking Republicans this to trap them. They don’t ask democrats. The right answer is “did you ask a democrat the same question? no? then (unlawful intercourse) yourself.
Man, those quotes are painful to read. What a blithering idiot he was and is.
