I gave up on Georgie Will when he admitted he is an atheist. That alone proves he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer!
Back when my folks still lived in Illinois, it was commonly held that everyone outside of Cook County would like to find and cut the mooring lines so that it would fall off and sink into Lake Michigan.

Tell the dems to thoroughly explore every facet of Scott Walker’s college experience. See where he went who his professors were how he paid for college and whether or not he even attended classes. What were his grades? Is there anyone else that went to class with him? Was he even there?
Do all that and when you are through there is this guy in the White House......

I haven’t seen Fox News Sunday yet but so far I have seen NO discussion on the shows of the stay placed upon Obama’s executive amnesty on immigration. Weird since this was such big news this past week.

Anyway, sang at 10 am mass this morn.
Folks, do you remember the fellow in my choir who died? Then my priest dropped dead at his memorial mass?
This week we get a message that THEIR LITTLE DOG DIED! Cutest little dog in the world....the guy’s wife is also in the choir.
So last week she phoned me....odd. I can’t think of a single time I ever talked to her on the phone. She talked about this and that....but did tell me her little dog had to be taken to the Vet, that he was very ill. Only 3 years old.....and I fretted. I met this little fellow when I went to visit Merle before his horrible death.
Today we get an email that the little guy died and my knees buckled. HOW LONG IS GOD GOING TO PUNISH THESE GOOD PEOPLE??
Now I know it’s not on God....but I’m damn near broken guys.
I guess that’s why Merle’s wife called me....Ronnie is her name. I didn’t know what to say but had a ball of angst in my gut that something was going to happen to that little dog.
I guess I could say the dog’s in heaven with Merle but hey, he’s already got our priest up there.
Anyway....life is okay here pretty much. Could do without cold, snow and crap but okay. Daughter with Muncheussen had a hysterectomy three weeks ago. Still she goes everywhere with that pillow up against her stomach...proudly...that all the world might know that she has a surgical scar on her stomach.
Y’all are just going to have to read my book.
And I ain’t even told y’all about my new writing job, being interviewed in my home, senators calling up my editor and telling them how good I am.
Which I am.
Heh.
