The White House isn’t happy that John Boehner circumvented them to invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak before Congress, and so they are mulling over ways to counter Netanyahu’s address.
According to a new AP report, one option they already discarded is having President Obama give a speech of his own on Iran to counter Netanyahu’s. What is still on the table, administration officials say, is Obama doing an interview with “a prominent journalist known for coverage of the rift between Obama and Netanyahu.”

They are also considering a media blitz on the Sunday shows, sending senior national security aides on all of them, and have already basically begun what the AP describes as a “cold-shoulder strategy.”
Neither Obama nor Joe Biden will attend Netanyahu’s speech, several Cabinet members will be out of the country, and the White House is even snubbing the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC during its annual meeting.
I think Bibi loves America.

Between his childish reaction to this and the Department of Defense asking for ideas over twitter, it proves that Obama is a little league leader trying to bluster his way in pro series plays.
The media almost always wins all the marbles in this country. So it’s a good strategy for obama.

Do we really know what Obama’s policy is towards Israel? Does he really tell us anything? Whatever it is, it must not be good for Israel because I don’t think Netanyahu would be crashing the gate to talk to Congress if it were. This doesn’t have anything to do with Israeli elections.

Boehner didn’t “circumvent” the WH, the House is a co-equal branch of the government, We didn’t see the congress buying time on TV to blast Obama for having multiple audiences with the president, IN the White House, or any other bunch (I.e. The Muslim brotherhood)....you know...the “enemy”? Bibi is an ally to the USA, not an enemy to anyone but maybe Muslims...how about it, Barry?
Let him run his TV blitz, only his butt-kissers will watch it, and no one will believe it, not really.
Meanwhile, if boehner doesn’t cave, we’ll all be anxious to hear what Bibi has to say.
