It might work but I don’t know if the mileage advantages will be enough to justify the cost.

Another poster mentioned that he’d seen this a couple years ago. might be the carbon buildup that has prevented this tech from going to prime time.

By burning hydrogen instead of gasoline you solve many of the problems mentioned:
- No carbon fouling.
- Faster ignition and burning.
- More complete burning.

I would suspect that the laser cleans itself by burning off the carbon deposits. Otherwise we have a real problem.
