CNBC Host Demonstrates How Not To Interview Scott Walker About His Weak Economic Record
To which I must note: IRS Hypocrisy? Media Matters Keeps Its Tax-Exempt Status
If the media actually did their job and reported on all this crap the left does and if parents actually got engaged in their kids schools then we would not be having this crap right now
Bwahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahhahah! Ogawd I luv! Karma! Bwahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahhahah! LOL!
Since someone is sure to come to this thread to mention illegal immigration, I’ll add this link [Caution.... READ it ALL] where, yet again, a “less-than-friendly” news outlet spills a lot of ink to twist the facts.
First the author has to admit to being called on a lie about Walker and the retraction he had to make. Then he goes forth to “prove” the headline of his attack piece.
Note at the end how the author feels it is necessary to tell you how to interpret Walkers quoted words - remarkably, he just makes up what he wants to fit his scenario [and headline], when it just isnt there [a big NOTHING BERGER like the one Professor Beth Lueck is feeding her class].
But there is the headline - which is what people absorb and what other liberal MSM news outlets blindly, dutifully — and if-they-know-what’s-good-for-them — reprint.
This woman needs to be fired from her job as an English professor if for no other reason than the fact that she does not know the meaning of the word nonpartisan.
Isn’t this the place where escaping Nazi leaders where given cover and teaching certificates following WWII?
Nothing really new here. In undergrad, in DC, professors would throw out all sorts of academic incentives and disincentives to goad students into attending rallies. Thats why the attendence numbers can never be taken seriously, the rallies are packed with kids who are pretty much compelled to attend.
There was a big anti-war rally in mid-January 1991 (right before the kickoff to Desert Storm) that a professor made attendence at mandatory. We had to bring back some item showing we’d gone.
A group of us (including a fair number of ROTC students) went down together and discovered a counter-rally being held across the street. Where the organizers were giving away “Free Kuwait!” tee shirts.
The professor was LIVID when we showed up at the next class wearing them. One of the ROTC guys told him flat out that if he didn’t accept them as proof we were all going to go down, en masse, to the Dean.
Professor backed down, but seethed about it all semester. Probably tanked our grades a bit in the end, but not by enough that we could really challenge him. But it was worth it, esp when we wore the shirts again to the first class following the cease-fire.
