While I’m not too familiar with counter mortar systems, I do know that the crate is too small for the unit. That said, each crate might contain components to assemble. It’s not a small unit, but can be static on the ground, or mobile attached to a HMMWV.

Back in the day, counter battery was integrated in the bed of a deuce and a half.

If memory serves me right the guy that started the tread is one of the putin’s brigade members here on FR. I wouldn’t volunteer info. Probably posting straight from Moscow.

It’s an LCMR. The two crates are it. It pieces about 24 linear array cards around a central hub processor. That’s it. What version it is is not readily apparent. Short range 360 Degree area protection.
