A way to transfer money from a business she owns to herself in a settlement, tax-free, to “make her whole” after a “loss?”

I still see the day coming where a murderer will sue because the victim fought back or died to horribly giving them PTSD.

If she wins, I’m curious if the insurance company can then sue her.

In the UK, a burglar won a lawsuit against a property owner who shot him because he was too frightened to continue in his chosen career - burglary.

Insurance companies should cover accidental death of a person. Usually the more sticky cases are the intentional deaths - like not paying out if someone deliberately kills themselves (suicide clauses).
Maybe not all of the story is being told here.

My two favorite comments at the link:
- If it were me, she would be awarded a dollar. That would put a stop to this nonsense
- If the insurance company has to pay the victim her, can the insurance then sue the responsible party her to recover the money they paid to the victim her?

There’s a problem with this case and I’ve identified the cause: lawyers.

I remember the first time I read about the MASSIVE increase in the number of Law Students that the Nations institutions of higher yearning had enrolled...
Im certain that we have FAR too many lawyers practicing law for anyone's good..
