After months of taking flak for his lack of a coherent strategy to combat ISIS, President Obama came up with an answer. Unfortunately, it’s “let’s pretend.”
In a speech to a conference Wednesday as well as an op-ed in the Los Angeles Times, our president did set forth an agenda for countering what he insisted on calling “violent extremism.” But his approach puts the top priority on the West acknowledging the terrorists’ conomic and political grievances.
That won’t convince anyone that Obama understands the nature of the threat. Nor will it do much to convince groups like ISIS that he’s serious about defeating them.
By continuing to dance around the reality that Islamism is a dangerous mainstream force within the Arab and Muslim worlds and downplaying the necessity to fight ISIS on the ground, the president once again demonstrated his discomfort in leading a struggle against evil and his unfitness as a war leader.
Obama is right that most Muslims don’t support the terrorists. Muslim communities should be partners with the government in the fight against those who seek to foment terror. The president is also right to echo George W. Bush’s insistence that America is not at war with an entire religion and its billion adherents.
But in a month that will be remembered for the release of murder videos in which ISIS beheaded and burned to death its victims — even as it expanded its reach from Iraq and Syria to Libya, and its sympathizers gunned down journalists and Jews in the streets of Europe — the leader of the free world needed to give us far more than an agenda for better community relations at home

Not at all true. B.S. baloney.
Most muslims support terrorists when they are SUCCESSFUL. Eighty percent of muslims cheered the destruction of the WTC. They were dancing in the street and passing out candy when the towers fell.
Muslims are against terrorism when it brings the heat down on them. Muslims fight terrorism when their kingdoms are in danger of being overthrown. Islamism can be defeated, but it takes will and a coherent strategy.
Osumbo has met the enemy and it is he, himself. What is he going to do, play another round of golf, I’ll bet on it.
Obama is right that most Muslims don’t support the terrorists.
By “most”, the surveys show that’s about 60%.
That leaves 40% of a couple of billion that support these actions.
Each of these words describes a different style of deception used by Muslims when discussing Islam or their activities as Muslims. Muhammad famously said, "War is deceit."
Western civilizations are not accustomed to dealing with people who have developed deception into an art form.
So here they are;
Takiyya: Takiyya is defined as dissimulation about ones Muslim identity. Islamic Sharia Law provides, "When it is possible to achieve an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible, and lying is obligatory if the goal is obligatory."
Tawriya: Tawriya is defined as concealing, and it could be called "creative lying".
Kitman: Kitman is characterized by someone telling only part of the truth.
Muruna: Muruna means using "flexibility" to blend in with the enemy or the surroundings.
Sounds like the White House press-briefing handbook.
America as we know it is doomed unless the next president names the nature of the threat — as clash of civilizations based on fundamentally opposed worldviews. Those are the worldviews of the Bible and the Koran.
It’s time the United States gave up on the politically correct “religious neutrality” idea and once again became the proud and unapologetic Christian republic it was until about 40 years ago. We need to unreservedly declare war on our enemies IN THE NAME OF JESUS and fight them as proud CHRISTIAN WARRIORS. I will not vote for any candidate who will not commit to that.
Islam is the religion of Jihad. You’d be hard pressed to find a muzzie who denies jihad. Calling jihadis terriorists misses the point.
What they’re attempting to do is justify their inaction.
