Initial findings are usually only 25% replicable. I was just reading this morning about Cholesterol...

“These are statin side-effects,” he concludes. “However, a lot of the doctors and patients think they’re ‘getting older.’ They’re not getting older; these are statin side effects.”

Patients over 70 years old are especially vulnerable, he said.

“They can’t remember names. They can’t remember where they put their glasses or keys. They forget sometimes who they are! It can actually bring on the onset of Alzheimer’s disease by 15 years. So you have to be cautious with statins,” Sinatra advised.”

Inflammation could very well be the key. I have rheumatoid arthritis which has a correlation to alzheimer’s (my grandmother had both). RA is an autoimmune disease which causes inflammation. Cooking your own food from scratch, cutting out lots of carbs, and reducing stress (mine is stress related) are all important. Mine kicked into high gear when my kid went to afghanistan. Holistic is the way to go.

Excellent advise. Pharmaceutical drugs and drug compNies are literally killing people. Statins have many serious side effects and have not proved effective in reducing CAD.
