YES , West Oaks Mall is just west of Orlando on Hwy 50 (Colonial Dr.) , about 2 miles to the East of this mall is the “Pine Hills” area which we refer to as “Crime Hills” ... This mall is barely hanging on after losing some anchor tenants... The area it is in is good but was clobbered in the 2008/9 crash ,,,and the vermin from Crime Hills are a little to close.
I live a little ways north of this area. I would NEVER go to this mall, been a bad area for years. I worked with someone whose wife was car jacked in the parking lot, probably 5 years ago.
