Back to the gummit shutdown fear. When was anyone punished politically from a shutdown and who says there would not be support from a large piece of their voting block.
The only people who are bothered by the shutdown are the media and DC.
I’m with Rush on this one. I don’t think the shut down hurt Republicans as badly as the pundits and left claimed. Having said that, there’s no reason we have to settle for getting the blame as long as we explain to voters that we passed the essentials and if there’s any shut down it’s because the president vetoed the bill.
This is another instance of Republicans playing too nice with Democrats. We hear Democrats blaming Republicans all the time and we don’t hear Republicans putting the blame where it belongs, on the Democrats.
