her insurer said that Stamford was 14 miles from her home and 15 was considered a reasonable travel distance. It was ridiculous didnt they notice it was in another state? Stanford is at least 35 miles from NYC, so either the NYT is lying, or BCBS is lying.
Fourteen miles from Manhattan will barely get you to Westchester County, let alone Connecticut. If you have no car, a trip to Stanford to many NYC residents might as well be the equivalent of Magellan's voyage.
However, instead of bringing up the distance (fake or real), this dimbulb brings up "another state", as if that would have any impact. Heck, Portchester NY is on the Connecticut border, so "another state" brings no weight to her argument.
But hey, she voted for this boondoggle, so she is reaping what she and her friends have sown.

Obamacare wasn't about providing health care... it was always ‘insurance’... Anyone know how much the big insurance companies chipped in to dem coffers?

What a clusterfarck. Unseen, of course, and all the fault of the greedy insurance companies and their greedy providers!
Hey, I've got as great idea. Let's all go to 'single payer' so we cut out all the hassle and frustration and everybody gets treated for free!
Oh, wait. You way that already is the idea? Never mind, then. Everything is running smoothly and right on schedule.

I bet if she wanted a sex change operation, she could find one in NYC.
