Enough braying
I see you are in Tualatin. That brings back memories, as I was in Lake Oswego through high school and early life after that, and then spent some time in Portland before going on down to Dallas to help my aging dad, a few years back.
I really do like it in Oregon, though, despite whatever else in politics is a problem, there.
BUT ... I’ll tell you the difference between Christianity in Oregon, versus in Oklahoma and Texas. Around here, Christianity is everywhere, but a whole lot of it is “cultural” ... so it fools people from outside of the area.
However, Christianity in Oregon is not so cultural (in the general population) so it’s more of a “committed stance” than it is around here! Around here, if you’re a redneck, you’re “automatically” a Christian, and real Christians know that isn’t true.
SO ... many times I wish and long for the Christianity of Oregon than I do of Texas and Oklahoma.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer couple. May they enjoy their time behind bars.
LOLOLOLOL...silly me.
Well brayed.
If you think Oregon has won anything in this other than an even farther leftist Governor, think again
We shall see. There is another election coming.
Well said. God is so good, he has placed some people in the belly of the beast who know the beast better than most who worship him. You are right, it is cleansing to be persecuted in his name.
I just returned to my native Washington after a 17 year hiatus living in Corvallis, another god-less pocket in Oregon.
I feel so vindicated by the governor finally getting caught.
He and all his Marxist buddies need to get what they well deserve.
I think this has very little to do with the corruption, and a whole lot more to do with the fact that now a homosexual is going to be governor.
The corruption was simply the tool to get it into the governors chair.
She actually has a husband and lives with him. Apparently, she had a so called affair with a woman years ago. Most likely to build her cred in the Party, but she is heterosexual.
God moves in very mysterious ways. Oregon is where environmentalism began and is where it is going to end.
Nice writing Bray. This is the first complete article I have read in a long time. (pardon my grammar, I went to public school and am sick)
As a Floridian spending the weekend visiting phamily in Phoenix, I am essentially clueless about the Oregon situation. But Democrats in power do not allow little things like corruption to get in the way of their “progress,” so there has to be something deeper going on here.
My question: did the governor associate with the “wrong” branch of the Democrat hierarchy? Is this either Clintonistas taking out a Chicago supporter for one of their own, or the Chicago Way taking out a Clinton supporter for one of their own? Oregon is going to go Democrat in the 2016 election, so the only electoral question would be who gets the state apparatus support in the primary.
Anyone happen to know if I’m on the right track here, or if it’s something else?
That is a great question. I am pretty sure he was in the mainstream of the Marxist Dems, but he got sloppy. That and a newspaper actually doing its job and never letting go of the bone. Once they found she lied on her tax returns there was nothing the media or Dems could do to protect him.
He/his girlfriend got sloppy and then cornered by having to report the money. Most Dems like Pelosi/Reid/Feinstein have corporations owned by their family members they can launder the money through. She did not.
Thank you, why did you read it all the way through? What caught and kept your interest?
I too went to Lake Oswego High.
The only bit of good news I saw in the Oregonian was that a gun control group gave Kitzhauber $250,000. Down the toilet . . . yea.
Thanks for the information. Then what’s all this about being ‘the first openly homosexual governor’?
A celebration of the previous fling?
Cool ... about LOHS. Good ole Pilot Joe ... :-) ...
I first came there from Texas, and had that good ole Southern accent, so everyone wanted to know if I brought my horse and if I had six-guns ... LOL ...
And then we get lesbian, Kate.
