We are at war!
World War III has started and apparently our government is unwilling to acknowledge it.
Prior to World War II, efforts were made throughout Britain and the United States to avoid war at all costs with disastrous consequences. We will face the same disaster if we do not face reality immediately.
In the Britain of the 1930's, Chamberlain attempted to appease Hitler until it was too late for Poland and the world. His appeasement increased the death toll from that war substantially.
In the year 2015, the parallels to 1939 are striking. We are in denial. Our nation cannot even give the enemy a name let alone develop the strategy to defeat it.
Face reality America, our nation is at war.
To not deal with Islamic extremists forcefully and on a united front will be disastrous for the world.
Unlike World War II, we have almost instantaneous information on the brutality of ISIS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram and other extremist groups. Recently the burning alive of a Jordanian pilot (story line only – no video out of respect for a fellow serviceman) and the almost nonstop beheadings were available on YouTube and other social media sites. This time there can be no denial of these atrocities as was done with the denial of the atrocities against the Jews during World War II.
As we debate whether or not the enemy are Islamic extremists or not, people are dying, nations are falling, the enemy is getting stronger, and we are becoming numb to the horrific tragedies unfolding before us.
Pursuing the axis of evil was a strategy of President Bush. When President Obama took office that strategy was abandoned. The term terrorist and Islamic extremism were literally banned and terms like workplace violence came into vogue.
President Bush correctly saw the evil for what it was. He understood the enemy. He understood what happened on September 11, 2001. He did something about it.
President Obama on the other hand has focused on a strategy of appeasing his base of support in the United States.
Bombing is not a strategy.
Announcing dates of withdrawal from Iraq is not a strategy.
Announcing dates of withdrawal from Afghanistan is not a strategy.
Announcing that ground troops will not be used is stupid.
Building a coalition of allies is a strategy.
Understanding the threat and identifying it as a threat is a strategy.
Neutralizing the threat is a strategy and desired outcome. There can be no other solution to the current quandary that we are in than to deal with this threat decisively and aggressively.
During World War II, Germany was called Nazi Germany. In much the same way, terrorism in the name of Islam is called Islamic extremism. Islamic extremism is the threat.
Just as in Nazi Germany, and in Fascist Italy and in Fascist Japan, there were many decent citizens of German, Italian, and Japanese nationalities. The decent citizens were overwhelmed by the sheer brutality of the nations in which they lived.
During my time in Afghanistan and Iraq, I had the distinct pleasure of getting to know many Iraqis and Afghans. These individuals were more than willing to fight against tyranny and Islamic extremism. However, the moment President Obama announced dates of withdrawal, he sealed the fate of those willing to resist the Islamic extremist.
While in Iraq I was shown videos of what Saddam Hussein and his minions did to the Iraqi population. We have no frame of reference in this country of such brutality. To this day those videos are a stark reminder of how evil people gain control of others
Announcing the withdrawal from any nation before the conflict is over or what military options you will and will not consider, you have sealed your fate and lost the war.
To complicate matters, the executive branch has declared a peace dividend and started to demobilize American military forces before the war has truly begun. This is national suicide.
The strategy to defeat Islamic extremism is extremely simple.
Islamic extremists must know that the United States in this battle until the end. The extremist must know that we will fight with our allies to include Muslim nations as one force to defeat a common enemy.
Covert military forces would be used and would include our own Special Forces, Marine Force Recon, Navy Seals, 93rd Wing U. S. Air Force as well as the CIA and our allies special forces.
Special Forces provide a much smaller footprint for the enemy and are specially trained for counter insurgency operations. They are the right force at the right time.
We must also recognize that protecting our national treasury is our mission and the terrorist's objective.
We must be smart about fighting this war and be prudent in how we spend our limited resources. We must fight insurgencies with counterinsurgency tactics.
When we combine words and actions and show a national intent to defeat the extremist, the terrorist base of support will evaporate rapidly and the decent people in the affected nations such as Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Indonesia will understand that they have an ally they can rely upon and trust to help destroy terrorism from within.
The Islamic extremists can be destroyed. Nothing, however, will happen until we acknowledge that we are at war whether we like it or not.

Just as I predicted right here on September 13, 2001, Bush chose to fight a Vietnam war in South Asia. Unfortunately, as I also predicted, this led to defeat and disaster, culminating in (which I did not predict) the installation of an Islamist anti-American government in Washington as a direct result of Bush's catastrophically poor judgement.

Vague, and no proper predicate for war.
The enemy is Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The war will end with their conquest and occupation, or our surrender.
Ask yourself how ISIS got 5 miles from an a Marine base and took down a town within that distance of our Marines. Simple extended range infantry mortars have a range nearly that distance. Chris Kyle had a killing shot at 2000 yards...over a mile. The maximum range of a 50 cal machine gun is over 3 miles.
Only one way it could have happened in my mind. They were ordered NOT to fire on the enemy.
And Iran
A company of Marines only has about 15-30 minutes of ammo available to them, organically. Unless other support is available, you don’t want to engage before you know you can destroy the aggressors.
Iran is a problem, Iran is a potential threat, Iran is run by loonies.
But Iran has not institutionalized and does not protect internationalized Wahabi/Deobandi Islam, the followers of which are RIGHT NOW invading our lands and planning or carrying out lethal attacks on our people.
It's not that Twelver Shia WOULDN'T do those things - they very well might.
But they don't because the rulers of the Islamic Republic of Iran won't let them, while the al-Saud family and the rulers of Pakistan bankroll and train the invading enemy armies we foolishly dismiss as "terrorists" while pretending to be our "allies".
I would certainly PREPARE for war with Iran, but I would be FIGHTING a war right now to conquer and subjugate Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
WW III began with the trafficking, buying and selling, of disposable body mortgages by “US” insurance-banking. Only the disposables are thrown into these always intentional unfinished violences. The Exempt Ones watch and profit.

You fight rattlesnakes with blue indigos so I would release blue indigos on my side and let them have at it. Kinda like a bunch of merc snakes.
BUT, in a real case scenario where we are trying to protect our homeland.
First, Obama is removed from office (deep grass), tried for treason and if found guilty administered punishment assigned by our laws. This should get who ever proceeds him their undivided attention.
Then, we would secure our borders to prevent incursions of WMDs by foot and shutdown all mosques. Round up the imams that preached hate that the FBI and DHS has a file on.
These Islamic heathens have vowed to kill us dead, all Christians, dead. We kill them first and ignore the collateral damage. We cannot worry about the “innocents” if there are any. No dropping of leaflets warning the “innocents” that we are coming to allow the rats to evacuate. Preemptive strike. No coalitions with other muzzie states or UN OKs. The UN is owned and operated by the Islamic heathens. Our real “allies” can join in the fun later.
If there are any left after nukes, MOABs and other fine weapons in our aerial arsenal our brave warriors would have to take the field. There is no way you can defeat this evil without going into the field and destroying the rats. ROEs are see ‘em, dust ‘em.
After about a # (do not want to get banned) or so of these Islamic goat humpers are dirt napping and becoming fertilizer we can start to slow down a tad.
WW3 was from 1945 to 1991 and the fall of the USSR. We lost almost 100,000 men and it cost hundreds of billions of dollars.
WW4 started in 1991 with the first Gulf War and has continued to this day. This is the War on Terror.
Including civilians, we have lost well over 10,000 people.
The cost in money and freedom has not yet been tallied.

It would be far easier to kill the rattlesnakes than to destroy all the nukes, yet failing passive means, for a normal neighborhood it would be wiser to gain a coalition of neighbors who would see the future problems of the spread of these snakes.
Meanwhile the liberal solution is to imagine man is basically good (as they loosely define it) not so sinful as they would hate America if it was like them, and that past wars, crime, looting, and the present reality of ISIS is due to people like Reagan and Bush, who saw the world in terms of good and evil.
And subscribed to the idea of gaining rewards by merit, whereas under liberal ethos the world would be a giant Starbucks with the government supplying everything. And who get themselves elected by presenting themselves as saviors of the poor who are sold the idea that they are oppressed victims who have the right to the benefits others obtained thru working.
Except that as under Communism, these elites are the only ones who get the lattes in first class seats, as in their judgement they alone are worthy of this, while the workers end up in the galley serving these self-proclaimed saviors. Who, like the devil, climbed up some other way than that which is right, employing the infectious but destructive victim-entitlement mentality.
