As Mark Levin has said, there have been many outright crazy justices on the court over the years.
This is one reason why he thinks there should be term limits for supreme court judges.
I was shocked when I read Levin’s book “Men In Black”. The SC has had more than it’s share of ne’er do wells. Rapists (Douglas), drunks, suicidal lunatics (Rutledge), anti-semites (McReynolds), KKK member Hugo Black, dementia, thieves (Abe Fortas) etc.
It’s laughable that these people are given so much respect and are seen as the final words of wisdom on important Constitutional issues.
